I’m Rik Hoving, Custom Car designer, Custom Car Historian, editor of the Custom Car Chronicle, author of the Jack Stewart Ford book, as well as many International Custom Car related magazine articles.
I have been passionately sharing my knowledge of the history of the Custom Car for the last two decades. My Custom Car Photo Archive website shares over 100,000 custom car related photos. In 2013 I started the Custom Car Chronicle site which combines my passion for sharing Custom Car related material and creating graphic and photographic elements.
I’ve helped dedicated custom car owners in the whole world with my Digital Restyling, Custom Car designs and visuals. Several of my Custom Cars Designs have been realized and are traveling the roads world wide.
I helped organize and promote two Historical important Custom car shows. The Mercury Gathering at the 2009 Sacramento Autorama, and in 2011 the Customs Then & Now exhibit at the GNRS.
In 2005 I created a series of Colorized Custom Car and Hot Rod photos which were featured in two Rodder’s Journal articles.
My mission? Sharing and promoting the beauty of customizing and to be of service to dedicated Custom Car owners and enthusiasts world wide.
