The car was on the cover of Februari 1950 Motor Trend magazine and also appeared in a combined Barris/Gaylord ad in Motor Trend Magazine. Later the car was chopped 2,5 inch and recieved a gorgeous Gaylord top. May coats of deep dark purple covered the smoothed body. The interior by Gaylord was done in white and gray.
