Larry Watson had asked the local Ford dealer to let him know as soon as the first 1958 T-bird with the factory stock tuck&roll interior would arrive at the dealer ship. Well turned out the first one with this interior (in black and white) was pink. Not a problem said Larry and bought it right way... The dealer did not know Larry’s plans.

As soon as he got the car in his shop he started stripping it and some minor body modifications where done to it. Shaving the trim, and door handles. Larry Had something very special planned for this car. The Platinum pearl he used on this car was very intense, and when larry pushed the freshly painted car outside he realized the color was just to bright. So he brought it back in the paint booth and started outlining the body to create some of his famous panel paint jobs. The panels where painted with a custom mixed candy apple burgundy. The outlines where pinstriped by Larry. The car was named “Vino Paisano”.

The 1950 experimental paints where not the same quality as they are today, and soon the candy burgundy started to fade. So Larry added some more panels inside the panels to hide the fading. The panels where outlined with wide striping. The car still exists today and is restored back to its first version now.
