One of the best known and still excisting Westergard customs is Mel Falconer’s

1939 Ford started in 1945.

A georgious custom with some very fine metal work. The first version had a white padded top, which was later replaced by a gorgeous removable metal hard top which was made from a 1940 Chevy coupe top. The grille was again Packard. The rear fenders where molded to the body and to totaly smooth out the rear of the car the trunk was welded shut and a the whole back of the car was metal worked to look like a single piece of metal with a cut out for the lincence plate (fitted behind glass), what a gorgeous modification.
