Leroy Semas 1937 Chevy
Leroy Semas 1937 Chevy
Leroy Semas was the owner of this 1937 Chevy Coupe. This is another typical Westergard Custom with the running boards removed and the fenders extended at the former running board locations. The front fender recieved a very elegant roll on the bottom, and chrome rock guard panels on the rear fender. The body was extended downward where the running boars used to be and that section is now molded in completely, not a seperate part as was the case in many of other customs where the running boars where removed. The grille is from a 39-40 Packard, the headlights where sunk into the front fenders and molded in. The hood sides where replaced by sollid units, Buick skirts and DeSoto bumpers... classic. Note the possition of the Appleton spots. The glass section is facing backwards, much different than on all the Barris custom cars. The Semas Chevy was built in the 40’s.
