George Cerny  1950 Plymouth

George Cerny Shop truck ( more text will follow)

Each of George's 3 sons drove the Wagon while in high school up to the late 60's when it was sold. The wagon was promptly crashed by the new owner & all the custom front end work destroyed. It thenwent to a yard in Hesperia, CA where it stayed until the sons located it in 1988. At that time, George Cerny Jr. (the eldest son) took it into his garage and commenced work on it. Shortly after moving it into his garage, George Jr. died while working on the car. A few months ago his widow called and told the other son's to get it out of her garage.

Now they are trying to piece it back together and gather any history of the car that they may not already know about. It's in pretty rough shape, but all of the boys worked in their father's body shop in Compton at one point or another, thiere craftmanship taught by George Cerny will assure perfect restore this unique custom wagon.
