Another late 40’s custom from the Cerny shop this 1947 Studebaker convertible.

An unussual car to start with as a custom, but I think they where able to create a very stylish custom out of it.

A 1948 Cadillac grille was used in the modified front sheet metal. The hood was smoothed and the headlight rings molded to the body and headlights frenched. The windshield was chopped several inches and the  door handles where shaved. Pontiac taillights where mounted in the modified and smoothed back of the convertible. Smooth hubcaps on wide whites and a great looking white cover for the rear seats look perfect on the dark paint job.
